Let’s get dressed

Instantly liked this blouse when I saw it on the Vinted app. Luckily for me, no one else seemed to see its potential. The fabric is cotton with tiny blue stripes and broderie anglaise. Originally it had oversized flaps around the chest and shoulders, which made it look quite grotesque. Removing and resewing the frills was relatively easy. I’m not the best sewer, but the quality of the work will do. I really like the hue of blue on this blouse.

Let’s get dressed

Always wanted a vintage coat. In neutral, color. With an unoffensive pattern that could double as oriental coat. As i don’t look good in lapels. The coat had to have a simple structure. Obviously came with a collar that was making it look old-fashioned. I have removed the collar and only left a sliver of fabric that could be tured in and finished with a tiny cross stitch turning it into a mandarin collar. Colours are all that already exist in my wardrobe: pale blue, khaki, indigo, white , all on beige background. I hope i can easily mix and match it with multiple outfits.
